#16 RCT with challenging MB2
Hi everyone. I am sharing a #16 endo case with a challenge to manage MB2 canal.
Preoperative film shows failing 16M restoration. Patient presented with irreversible pulpitis on 16.
Through the access cavity, MB1, DB and P canals are readily identifiable. However, the MB2 orifice is hidden underneath a dentine ledge along the mesial wall of the access cavity.
After exploration and widening access mesially, MB2 canal could be instrumented.
Working length radiograph with visible 4 canals all with separate portals of exit. I will review for signs of healing at 3 months and obturate subsequently.
