Another challenging upper first molar RCT

This was another particularly difficult 16 root canal. Finding MB2 orifice was challenging. CBCT suggested MB2 orifice did not start until 3-4mm apical to floor of pulp chamber. A careful exploration along the MB groove was needed. Mid-operative CBCT was also taken to assist with locating the canal. GP radiograph shows 4 distinct canals with 4 separate portals of exit. #15 pulp burs were used to explore the floor of the pulp chamber along the MB line angle. Endo explorer probed help with identifying a catch that would lead onto the MB 2 canal. #8 and #10 C-pilot files helped with gaining patency with the narrow MB2 canal.
